The beauty and tranquility of the falls made it the perfect backdrop for such a special moment. Cades Cove continues to be a favorite place for our family, whether for a peaceful drive, a wildlife-spotting adventure, or a hike through its enchanting trails.
Planning Your Visit to Great Smoky Mountains National Park
Here are some tips to help you make the most of your visit to the Smokies:
- Visit in All Seasons: The park offers unique beauty year-round, from blooming wildflowers in spring to vibrant foliage in fall and snow-covered peaks in winter.
- Start Early: To avoid crowds, especially in popular areas like Cades Cove, try to begin your day early.
- Check the Weather: Weather in the mountains can change quickly. Be prepared with appropriate gear for rain or sudden temperature drops.
